The CPRA National Exchange is being held May 11-13 in Richmond, British Columbia during the BCRPA’s Annual Symposium. This is your opportunity to be a part of this national showcasing and networking event. Four National Strategy Discussions have been included within the Symposium schedule. Your participation will ensure voices from all areas of the country are included in the dialogue.

Enhancing After School Programs for Children and Youth in Canada

These discussions will inform the 2011 National Recreation Summit to be hosted by Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation and the Alberta Recreation and Parks Association in October 2011 and will also guide national advocacy and action.

A Although you are responsible for your own travel, accommodation and expenses to attend the event, as a member of RPAY and an associate member of the CPRA you are entitled to special registration rates. Special hotel rates at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel are also available to registered delegates. The deadline for these rates is also April 11. Rooms can be reserved online here.

BCRPA Discussion Topics and Tradeshow:

The BCRPA 2011 Symposium, themed iRec: Transformation & Renewal Through Innovation, will highlight sessions related to business practices; leadership; engagement; trends; healthy communities and partnerships. In addition to the CPRA National Strategy Discussions there is plenty of networking opportunities at the tradeshow and various other events.
